Zawan-Dachi 座湾立ち
(Wide- Seated Crossed Leg Stance)
This stance only appears at the begining of the “Papuren” Kata. It looks like Kosa Dachi so the legs are crossed but wider. Keep your body and hip in Shomen position. Back foot is on its toes and ball of the foot on the floor and front foot is flat on the floor with 30 degree to 45 degree angle with leg forward. Back foot toes should be lined up with front foot heel.
